Harley had many stories to tell about the landing and subsequent fighting at Iwo Jima. He also spent some time in Japan after the war ended. She was very active in her church, Holy Name of Jesus. For nearly 10 years, she baked 160 pies and cakes for the Holy Name Summer Fun cake walk event. Each year she would increase what she did the prior year. Her favorite cake was chocolate with chocolate frosting and her favorite pie was lemon meringue.
She was a wonderful woman who will be deeply missed. Prior to his retirement Pat worked for over 39 years as a pressman at the former American Can/James River in Wausau. He also worked at the Wisconsin Auto Auction for over 25 years. Some of his favorite pastimes included traveling the world with his beloved wife, fishing and snowmobiling.

Upon returning to Wausau, he worked at Old Castle Glass, and for the last 18 years at Walt’s Petroleum Service. In 1998 she moved to her own apartment and enjoyed making it become her home. She also was very appreciative of all the care and consideration her landlords gave her. Following her graduation from high school, she moved to Wausau and began attending NorthCentral Technical College. The Family Settled in Gleason when her Dad retired.

Blaine was baptized as a Christ Follower at Eagle Brook Church on January 31, 2016 and was a faithful member up until the time he passed. Blaine lived by the motto “Do it right and do it once.” He was a man who worked hard, played hard, and lived life with no regrets. David was born June 12th 1943 in Milwaukee WI to parents Stanley and Rose Tomashaski. Sisters Rose Ann Farley, Joan Johnson, Susan Lindstadt.

While living in Lacon, he was a founding member of the Jaycees and was a sheriff’s deputy. In Cloverdale, he was the Town Board president and was active in school board meetings as well. Harley grew up in the Peoria, IL area and enlisted in the Navy in 1943 where he served in the Pacific during WWII. He was a landing craft coxswain and a signalman with the Beachmaster.
Helen’s greatest love was her family followed by her love of music. More recently she spent many hours enjoying WDEZ County and the Sunday Polka program. Millie was cared for by the angels at Cedar Creek Manor, Kronenwetter for the last six years of her life. Her family would like to thank everyone there for the loving care shown to her, especially Linda Fosick, who could always make her smile.
John Richard "Jack" Hochberger
After teaching, Sonja worked at the Birnamwood Veterinary Clinic until her retirement. She could always be found listening to country music and watching the Brewers and Packers. Sonja enjoyed bowling, socializing with people and eating lutefisk and lefse. She was an active member at Trinity Lutheran Church in Birnamwood. On August 15, 1964, Sonja was united in marriage to Richard Block at Trinity Lutheran Church in Birnamwood. Our beloved mother/grandmother/great-grandmother/friend Lillian Janzam went to heaven on October 29, 2022 at the age of 100.

Roger was a proud military veteran and enjoyed a special Never Forgotten Honor Flight trip to Washington DC, accompanied by his son, to see our nation’s war memorials. Roger worked for Silcrest, Larson Office Equipment Company and Fleet Farm before purchasing a dairy farm in the Town of Easton. There, he and Betty spent thirty years raising a wonderful family and expanding their farm. Truman is survived by his daughter Kaitlin Tornow, parents Truman and Sharon Tornow, and sister Jenny Olszewski.

Brothers Tom, Gary, James, Greg and sister Marilyn. She would faithfully meet all of her friends to watch the packer games on T.V. She loved the city of Wausau and enjoyed walking downtown for many years. She then decided to pursue a degree in Education and commuted to the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point to receive her teaching degree.
